Adler Marchand currently serves as the Coordinator of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging in the Office of Campus Life and Student Engagement. In his role, he is responsible for Weeks of Welcome, Diversity Programming, and Campus Engagement.
Prior to, he served as the Assistant Director of Campus Life and Student Engagement in the Office of Campus Life and Student Engagement. In his role as the Assistant Director, he is responsible for Homecoming, Room Reservations, and Registered Clubs/Organizations.
Adler came to NSU from Lynn University, where he served as a Student Involvement Coordinator of Diversity Programs and Student Activities. During his time at Lynn, Adler coordinated Welcome Weekend Programs, Tunnel of Oppression, Heritage Months Celebrations, and Founders Day. In his experience, he helped bring Dance Marathon to life at Lynn and raised over $18,000 in their inaugural year. Adler has experience supervising various student activities boards at Lynn University, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, University of South Florida-St. Petersburg and several on campus organizations.
Adler attended Florida Atlantic University, where he received his B.A. in Exercise Science and Health Promotion and his M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Student Affairs from the University of South Florida. He is a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated since the Spring of 2011.
Choreographing, serving as a leader at his church, planning social events, and watching live performances on YouTube are some of Adler’s major activities outside of work. He loves to spend quality time with friends and family. Positive Vibes is his #1 Motto!
