Student Organization Work Hub

Purpose

The Student Organization Work Hub provides student organizations access to print and art supplies. The Work Hub is located in Rosenthal Student Center, Room 201.

Services Provided

  • Free printing of flyers of up to 25 copies a day (single sided)*

    • paper size offered: 8.5”x11” only
    • paper stock: 20 lb.
      *double sided pages will count as 2 copies
  • Access to the following supplies:

    • construction paper
    • butcher paper
    • glue
    • paper cutter
    • paint
    • tri-fold corrugated display board (each NSU student organization is allowed to request one board per academic term)
    • glitter
    • card stock paper
    • scissors
    • hole punchers
    • markers
    • colored pencils
    • stencils
    • sidewalk chalk
    • alphabet stamp

Service Policy and Guidelines

The following guidelines have been established so that student organizations can continue to take advantage of this great service. If the guidelines are not followed, a student organization may lose their work hub privileges.

  • The service is available for NSU student clubs and organization only.
  • Student organizations must sign in before using/requesting any of the supplies or service(s) and sign out before leaving the work hub.
  • NSU student organizations can print flyers for organization businesses only.
    • Printing for personal or class related materials are not allowed.
  • All materials will be reviewed for policy compliance and for NSU logo usage to ensure its compliance with the University's Graphic Identity Standards and Policies.
    • Please view our logo usage guidelines. A copy of an official college logo can be obtained by contacting the program office of your respective college/school, or you can download the generic NSU logo here.
  • Any requests with materials that contain depictions of pornography, offensive, excessive violence, illegal and abusive and/or any outright denigration of race or religion and matters that threaten one's interest, and violation of any copyright law will be refused.
  • Place the butcher paper on work desk before using paints, glitter and markers. Do not use paints or markers on walls or counter top.
  • Do not remove any equipment or supplies from the Work Hub.
  • Clean up the work space after using the supplies.
  • Throw away all trash before leaving.
  • Any damage done to the room during the reservation period will be the responsibility of the organization.

Hours of Operation (effective August 19, 2019) 

  • Monday-Thursday: 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
  • Friday: 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
