Wellness Champions

A wellness champion is a person appointed by your college/department which will represent the department/college in our wellness committee.

What does a Wellness Champion Do?

  • Serve as the contact person for your department in facilitating events specific to your department with the University's wellness coordinator.
  • Most importantly you would serve as a motivator to continuously encourage your fellow coworkers to lead a positive and proactive lifestyle.

How do I get involved?

  • Contact your department head to make sure your department does not have someone assigned already.
  • Once your department has appointed you as the wellness champion please contact the Wellness Coordinator Marcela Sandigo 954-262-40555.
