Internal University Communications
University Relations provides information that is of importance to the Nova Southeastern University community by utilizing several channels to communicate campus news, events, and achievements. These internal communications are the best way for the NSU community to stay up-to-date on the latest happenings at the university. The department also coordinates all of NSU’s internal campaigns, such as Commencement, Black History Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, “I Believe in NSU,” Healthy Sharks, and more.
Internal communications channels include Horizons magazine, the SharkBytes e-newsletter, SharkTube television network, electronic marquees, and mass email. For more information on university communications, contact Mara Kiffin, director of internal communications, at 954-262-5350 or firstname.lastname@example.org, or log into SharkLink and visit the Policies & Procedures channel under the Employee tab.
Solicitations from businesses or organizations not affiliated with the university are not permitted on NSU’s internal communications channels. Advertising to the university community is available through the Office of Student Media and Information and its student-run outlets The Current newspaper, Radio X (88.5 FM) and Sharks United Television. For advertising information, call 954-262-8461.
