Questions that you should ask a Chapter when you are interested in rushing:
- Why should I join this chapter?
- How long is the new member education program?
- What are my responsibilities as a new member?
- What are the time requirements involved?
- Does the chapter have a service or philanthropy?
- How is the chapter involved in campus activities?
- How does the chapter promote campus activities?
- What things do you do with other chapters?
- What activities can and must I participate in as a new member?
- What is Greek Week all about?
- What are the monthly or semester dues?
- How much is the affiliation fee? Initiation fee?
- Are there any extra or special assessments added to the bill?
- Can you hold a part-time job and still have time to be a member?
- How does the chapter promote academics (major compatibility, scholarship banquet, tutoring by members, etc.)?
- What is the grade requirement for initiation?
- What is the grade requirement to remain in good standing with the chapter?
- What types of social events are planned for the coming year?
- Why do you enjoy being in a fraternity/sorority?
