Greek Life

Mission Statement

The Office of Greek Life at Nova Southeastern University is dedicated to the intellectual and personal development of students through membership in Greek-letter organizations.

We encourage all members of our community to avail themselves of the scholarship, leadership, brotherhood/sisterhood, and philanthropic opportunities of fraternity and sorority membership.

In doing so, we strive to compliment the mission of the University and produce men and women of competence and maturity who will contribute to the world in which they live.

Goals and Objectives

  • Promote the intellectual, social, recreational, moral, and career development of students
  • Provide training in leadership and other personal and social skills
  • Promote student involvement in co-curricular activities
  • Promote sponsorship of and participation in community service projects
  • Promote positive educational outcomes
  • Promote an appreciation for different lifestyles and cultural heritages
  • Recognize the positive cultural traditions in a diversity of Greek organizations

One good thing leads to another.

No matter which organization you choose to join, you'll find that we have something perfect for you. Whether it be a Social, Athletic, Community Service, Business, Education, Pre – Law, Psychology, or Biology, we have what you are looking for.

Greek Life at NSU has excelled in academics, philanthropy, community service, athletics and social activity. NSU Greeks are consistently above the All-Campus Average scholastically, and our Greeks have completed 5000+ hours of community service. Plus each chapter is made even stronger by being a part of an international Greek community that has grown to 1.3 million active members and over 92 organizations.

So when you turn to NSU Greek Life, look at what we have to offer. This is your chance to separate yourself and become a leader at NSU. This is the NSU Greek Life Edge.
