Last Lecture Series
Throughout the year, student-nominated professors give their “last lecture,” speaking to the NSU community as if it were the last lecture of their career. They have 30 minutes to share their insights about what matters most in life. Some laugh, some cry, but none is forgotten.
Farquhar Faculty Member Dr. Gary Gershman gave the first lecture in the series in the spring of 2006. In the fall of that year, Dr. George Wallace-Barnhill and Dr. AnnaLynn Schooley each spoke. In the spring of 2007, Dr. Richard Finkel gave his “last” lecture. The scheduled speaker for the fall 2007 lecture is Dr. Paul Knapp, who will speak on October 23 as part of Character Counts Week.
