Civic Engagement Board
The Civic Engagement Board (CEB) allows current Nova Southeastern University undergraduate and graduate students to combine their passion for volunteering with the opportunity to learn skills in leadership, while addressing a myriad of community issues.
Emerging Leaders Experience
The Emerging Leaders Experience is designed to prepare students to be effective leaders. Throughout your ten week experience, you will gain skills that will help you improve your leadership capacity.
NISA (Nova International Students Association)
NISA (Nova International Students Association) is an accredited organization of NSU international students who represent around 100 countries globally. Established in the 1980s, NISA organizes social and academic programs/events in coordination with the Graduate Assistant for International Student Affairs. Some events include trips to Orlando, Key West and South Beach-Miami along with Bowling and Movie Nights, workshops/seminars, and cultural nights, to name a few.
M.A.P. (Multicultural Affairs Programming)
The Multicultural Affairs Programming (M.A.P.) is a group of committed learners dedicated to building bridges of understanding to create a community where each individual is valued for their similarities AND their differences. Furthermore, all members of this community act as a student AND teacher of diversity. The group is open to students, faculty and staff at Nova Southeastern University.
Spiritual Life Council
The Spiritual Life Council includes students and staff who are interested in raising spiritual awareness on campus. Council members come from different faith backgrounds, and some have no religious affiliation. What unites them is a desire to increase reflection within the NSU community on topics such as purpose, meaning, identity, and character.
