2008 Annual Student Leadership Conference

September 20, 2008, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
This one-day intensive conference is devoted to leadership issues to support effective leadership development. All students interested in gaining leadership experience, will have a chance to network with other students on campus and gain extensive knowledge of the resources available. This opportunity also supports collaboration efforts between organizations, offices and students throughout the year. In addition, this initiative fosters the success of attendees through interactive workshops whose theme is to impart information on how attendees can become a great leader and how to develop a proactive and productive club/organization.
The 2008 NSU Leadership Conference will educate attendees on the components of leadership in organizational settings. The conference’s overall theme for this year will be reinforcement, with the slogan, “The Promise of Organizational Reinforcement”. Students will participate in interactive workshops throughout the conference, learn about leadership through support, intelligence of working in chaos and have the opportunity to network with students and professional leaders from the NSU campus. All students from all of the colleges/campuses at NSU have the opportunity to attend. This year’s conference will be held on September 20, 2008.
