Awards Banquet
The Student Leadership Awards Banquet is a special effort to express the gratitude of the University by recognizing exceptional achievements and service on the campus and in the surrounding community. As well as build a sense of community. These individuals’ take great strides towards building a sense of community through their participation in club and organization activities on and off campus. We hope that you will all support our efforts to recognize student leaders, advisors, faculty members, clubs and organizations.
This year’s banquet will take place on April 23, 2009.
The following awards are presented annually to campus leaders, advisors and faculty members at the Student Leadership Awards Banquet for their efforts and contributions during the current academic year. All nominations due via e-mail to leadership@nova.edu: Friday, April 10
To nominate a club or individual
- Click on the award below that you would like to apply for or nominate someone for.
- Download and type in your information.
- If the award is for a club or organization submit a "year in review" document to leadership@nova.edu. Only one "year in review" per club or organization is needed.
- Each club or organization that would like to be considered for any of the organization awards must submit a "year in review" document. This can be in the form of a scrapbook, a notebook, or even a zip drive with digital photos. It should include documents, photos and other relevant information that summarizes what your organization has accomplished this year. Be creative!
- Only one "year in review" document is required per club despite the number of awards they are applying for. This is only required for club or organization awards, not for individual awards.
- In addition, each club must include the appropriate nomination form for each award it would like to be considered for.
Remember that a club or individual can self-nominate.
