Students
The staff in the Office of Student Leadership and Civic Engagement will work with students to help them find the right volunteer opportunity to match their interests. The staff can inform students about many agencies in and around the greater Fort Lauderdale community, including contact information and volunteer opportunities per agency.
Services for Student Organizations
The staff in the Office of Student Leadership and Civic Engagement can work with student clubs and organizations to participate in community service, and plan community service events of their own. The staff can assist student clubs and organizations in their efforts to engage in community service, by suggesting ideas, and provide information of local agencies. If student clubs and organizations are looking for volunteer opportunities, the staff can also provide them with a listing of upcoming volunteer opportunities in the local community, including local fundraising walk/runs and special volunteer events.
