How do I get started?
Contact the Office of Student Leadership and Civic Engagement staff with your interests. The staff will begin exploring volunteering opportunities with you. It is that easy!
Will my volunteer work appear on my transcript?
Yes. Your volunteer efforts will appear on your transcript if you complete and turn in your Co-Curricular Transcript form to the Office of Student Leadership and Civic Engagement in the Rosenthal Building, Room 207.
What if I have a volunteer idea?
Great! The office has a small staff and is always willing to work with NSU community members on ideas and events. We will work to make your community service ideas a reality. We encourage students, faculty, and staff to come to us with fresh ideas.
