Annual Drive sponsored by GrASP

In conjunction with students from Center for Psychological Studies program, the Office Student Leadership and Civic Engagement and GrASP (Graduate Association of School Psychology) are collecting school supplies to donate to needy children in Florida. Donation boxes will be located throughout the university.

NSU Make A Difference Day

Various Civic Engagement events on campus from 9am - 4pm

    • Story Time at the Library 10 am – 12 pm
    • Arts and Crafts

  • Big Brothers/Big Sisters Carnival
  • Peanut Butter and Jelly Time
  • School Supply Drive Count
  • Keep America Beautiful
  • Adopt-A-Street on Orange Drive

November 4 – December 4

Angel Tree Program

From November 4 through December 5, students, faculty, and staff have the opportunity to donate gifts to individual children for the holiday season. All donations will be collected by the Office of Student Leadership and Civic Engagement, and they will be delivered to the Salvation Army for disbursement on December 5.

If you are interested in assisting with preparing donations and delivering them on December 5 to the Salvation Army, please email Travis Checketts. If you would like to assist at the Salvation Army Toy Shop directly, please call (954) 712-2435 to speak with the volunteer coordinator.

Tuesday, December 1

9th Annual Senior Prom

Students, faculty, and staff have the opportunity to escort a senior citizen from a local nursing home for the evening. The event will take place at a local hotel for a night of dinner, music, dancing, and fun. This event is truly magical. Maximum amount of volunteers is 30. Transportation to and from the prom will be provided for those who do not want to drive themselves.
