Vision
To maintain, create, and provide opportunities for NSU community members to develop leadership skills, a sense of belonging, and civic responsibility through involvement in community based programming.
Goals
- To act as a clearing house for civic engagement
- To develop a comprehensive database of community service organizations
- To work with NSU community members to match specific service needs
- To provide action orientated leadership experience on the campus and in the community
- To provide civic engagement events on and off campus each semester
- To create an organized Civic Engagement Board that will meet bi-monthly and creates student initiated service projects at least twice per semester
