Come exhibit your carpentry skills and win money at our annual "Anything That Floats" Raft Race. Whether you compete or cheer for your favorite team, it will be an event you'll never forget. Requirements

  • Homecoming Court royalty will be announced at halftime of the Homecoming Game on Friday, November 9.
  • Homecoming King and Queen will be awarded to seniors only. Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors, who win in their respective categories, will receive Prince and Princess titles.
    • Homecoming Candidate will receive one complimentary Homecoming Dance ticket.
  • Homecoming Court participants are required to attend the Tailgate, Flight Deck Follies, SEA Thursday, and the Homecoming Bash.
    • NOTE: Given class obligations, candidates are not required to stay for the duration of the event(s).
  • Photographs will be taken of all Homecoming Court members after coronation.

Vote for Me

On-campus or Social network campaigning will begin Thursday, November 1, 2012 and run through Thursday, November 8, 2012 until 2:00 p.m.

NOTE: Any campaigning outside of the aforementioned dates will result in the disqualification of the candidate(s).

All candidates will receive a Homecoming Candidate sash available for pick up beginning at 10:00 am in the Office of Student Activities, Don Taft University Center, room 1235 on Friday, November 2, 2012.

Voting

Undergraduate students may cast their votes via email link beginning Friday, November 2nd, 2012 at 9:00am through Thursday, November 8th, 2012 at 2:00pm. Each student will be allowed one vote per category. There are eight categories: Freshman Princess, Freshman Prince, Sophomore Princess, Sophomore Prince, Junior Princess, Junior Prince, (Senior) Homecoming Queen, and (Senior) Homecoming King.

Come out to dance and have a great time with your fellow NSU Sharks and friends! Shark Shuttle Service will be provided from 9pm -2am at the Don Taft University Center Shark Fountain. Tickets must be purchased on campus in the Don Taft University Center up until 10pm the night of the event. There will not be any tickets sold at the door of Passion Night Club.

Rules:

  • Prior to boarding the NSU Shark Shuttle, if you, the student and/or guest show signs of being under the influence you will not be allowed to board
  • No bags are permitted on the shuttle of in the club (handbags are permitted)
  • All NSU students and guests will be held in accordance to the NSU student handbook along with any and all federal, state, and local laws and ordinances
  • For security purposes, please be aware that all NSU shuttles are equipped with video and audio systems
  • No food and/or beverages are allowed onto the Shark Shuttle
  • As it pertains to the NSU Shark Shuttles, all students will be held responsible for any cleaning and/or damages that occur (i.e. vomiting, fighting, general misuse) while on the shuttle to and from Passion Nightclub at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino and Hotel will be subject to judicial review and/or sanctions as defined by the NSU Student handbook.
