Description: Special Olympics Broward County invites you to participate in the Annual Sallarulo's Race for Champions 5k! Visit for more information.

Description: Attention all NSU men: Join us for the annual male beauty pageant! Pull out your fishnet stockings and spritz the perfume! Come watch NSU guys dressed like NSU gals! Trust us—this is one event you will not want to miss! Applications are available in the Office of Student Activities located in Don Taft University Center, room 1235. Description: Ready? Set? GO! Bring your friends, classmates, and your organization to compete in our annual tricycle relay. Test your speed and agility through our course, and win some money for yourself or your student organization! Racing will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the Alvin Sherman Library.

Description: Join NSU’s Unified Greek Council as they stroll, step, and dance in our first annual Homecoming Yard Show in the Flight Deck Backyard. The show will include a live DJ and food trucks for your enjoyment. This event is open to NSU students, alumni, and members of the community, so come out and have a great time with us!

Location: Passion Night Club-Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

Description: Come out to dance and have a great time with your fellow NSU Sharks and friends! Shark Shuttle Service will be provided from 9:00 p.m. -2:00 a.m. at the NSU Shark Fountain, in front of the Don Taft University Center.

Tickets go on sale starting November 5, 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, in the Office of Student Activities, located in the Don Taft University Center. Tickets cost $10 for advance purchase and $15 on the day of the event. No tickets will be sold at the door. 


  • Prior to boarding the NSU Shark Shuttle, if you, the student and/or guest show signs of being under the influence you will not be allowed to board
  • No bags are permitted on the shuttle of in the club (handbags are permitted)
  • All NSU students and guests will be held in accordance to the NSU student handbook along with any and all federal, state, and local laws and ordinances
  • For security purposes, please be aware that all NSU shuttles are equipped with video and audio systems
  • No food and/or beverages are allowed onto the Shark Shuttle
  • As it pertains to the NSU Shark Shuttles, all students will be held responsible for any cleaning and/or damages that occur (i.e. vomiting, fighting, general misuse) while on the shuttle to and from Passion Nightclub at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino and Hotel will be subject to judicial review and/or sanctions as defined by the NSU Student Handbook.

Description: Come show your Shark Pride and cheer on the NSU Volleyball team as they go head to head with Eckerd College at 7 p.m. in the NSU Arena at the Don Taft University Center (free admission with your NSU Shark Card and free admission for all active duty veteran military personnel). Additionally, we will be crowing our 2015 Homecoming Court at this time along with many prizes and giveaways throughout the game.

Description: Following the volleyball game, join us behind the Flight Deck Pub for our Homecoming Backyard Party! Come celebrate good times with fellow students, colleagues, and alumni. There will be live entertainment until midnight!

Homecoming VIP Challenge

The challenge will open on Wednesday, November 4, and continue through Thursday, November 12.

Attention Sharks!

#SharksHC is upon us and we want you to have the best Bash experience ever. Get excited, because this year, we will be continuing our tradition of the Goose Chase VIP Photo challenge. The winners will get an exclusive VIP experience. This includes a limo ride, dinner, and your own VIP section during the Homecoming Bash! 

Here’s how it works:

  1. Download the GooseChase iPhone or Android app.
  2. Sign up for a team username (up to 10 team members may login under the same account).
  3. Join the game by searching for "#SharksHC VIP Party Challenge" from within the app (click the search button and enter the game name).
  4. Start completing missions when the game is started!

Each mission has a name, description and point value. Photo proof is required to receive points for a mission. Just select the mission you want to complete from the mission list, take a picture with the phone's camera and press the submit button. You'll receive the points right away, but remember that all photos are subject to review. This means that you can lose those points at any time if the photo doesn’t match the assigned task. Once the photo has been judged, resubmission will not be taken into consideration, so please make sure your submissions are correct.

The winners of the challenge will be announced at SEA Thursday on November 12, taking place in the Don Taft University Center from noon-1:00 p.m.
