Qualitative Research Resource of the Week

 

Social Research Update has been published by the Department of Sociology of the University of Surrey in the United kingdom since 1993. Edited by Nigel Gilbert, each issue of the publication features an in-dept account of an innovative methodological procedure applicable to qualitative research. Recent topics include Research without Consent, Mind-mapping, In-depth Interviewing by Instant Messaging, and Systematic Reviewing. Contributions that review current issues in social research and methodology in about 2,500 words are always welcome and all articles in the serial are peer-reviewed.

NSU Announces New Online Graduate

Qualitative Research Certificate Program

 

The NSU Graduate Qualitative Research Certificate Program consists of eight three-credit hour online courses designed to prepare academics, professional research consultants, and graduate students to understand a variety of qualitative research approaches and to conduct qualitative research studies. Applications for summer 2009 courses are now being accepted.
