The Mission of the Office of Special Events & Projects is to ensure Nova Southeastern University is represented in a professional manner. Our primary focus is to craft events which enhance relationships, partnerships and collaborations with individuals and businesses. Our goal is to serve the campus community at Nova Southeastern University with standards and procedures of excellence.
Our events assist the university president, board of trustees, and advancement professionals in the university’s mission of Changing Lives and Changing the World.
In addition, NSU is an active member of the South Florida community and regularly participates in events which support the University’s mission. NSU representatives attend community/civic events and the university hosts community events on our campus.
These include events like Leadership Broward Education Day; the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival; the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation Gala; the Broward Library Foundation LitLive! event and multiple walks such as Autism Speaks, Lupus Foundation, American Heart Association Broward Heart Walk and the Special Olympics Race for Champions.
