The Mission of the Office of Special Events & Projects is to ensure that Nova Southeastern University is represented in a professional manner. We are responsible for planning, coordinating and producing events hosted by the President's office. We are available to assist the various colleges, schools and centers with the initial planning of any events or activities that they are hosting or coordinating. Our goal is to serve the campus community at Nova Southeastern University by implementing standards and procedures that need to be met whenever the University is hosting or attending an event.
The Office of Special Events and Projects has segmented events into the following categories: University, Community and Development. A university event is one that is being held on the NSU Campus or at a scheduled site and arrangements are made through the various departments at the university. A community event is one that members of NSU administration, faculty, and/or staff will be attending representing the university, and is generally held off campus. The university will normally purchase seats or tables at such events, along with an ad to be placed in the event's ad journal. A development event is generally formatted to be a "friend/fundraising" event and can be held on or off NSU campuses.
Please utilize the Office of Special Events & Projects as a vital resource for you and your event needs.
We thank you for your continued commitment to NSU and we look forward to working with you in the future.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Ramos
Director, Special Events & Projects
