Application Process
Applications and supporting material should be received by the preferred application review date. Late applications are reviewed based on availability and students who are not accepted for their initial start date because of late application status will be considered for the following term.
Preferred Review Dates* - All Programs in Fort Lauderdale and Online
Fall (beginning in September) July 1
Winter (beginning in January) November 1
Summer (beginning in April) March 1

To ensure that your application is complete, please use the checklist below and follow the detailed instructions provided for each item.
Please use the check list below in order to ensure that you have sent in all documents to complete your admissions file. All documents that are submitted to the University will need to include your name and social security number on the bottom of each page.

**The admissions essay should be two to four double spaced, single sided, typewritten pages. This essay should tell us why are interested in the program to which you are applying for, as well as your professional goals, your assessment of your abilities to manage the challenges of graduate school, and any other information you would like to provide.
***The sample of academic writing could be an academic paper, submitted journal writing, or a piece of professional writing. There is not a specific length requirement for this paper.

* Supplemental Information
Resident Alien students are required to submit a copy of their Resident Alien card. International Students who reside outside the United States at the time of application, and whose native language is not English, must present evidence of proficiency in English by satisfactorily completing the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a 213 on the computer-based test or 79-80 on the Internet based test.
