Summer 2008 Undergraduate Housing

Founders, Farquhar, and Vettel Halls

Founders, Farquhar, and Vettel residence halls each house approximately 55 upper class undergraduate residents during the summer months. Each apartment is furnished and features single, double, and triple options, kitchen with a full refrigerator and stove, one private bathroom, and a living room.

Current residents living in Leo Goodwin Sr. Residence Hall and the Cultural Living Center will need to move from their current room to Founders, Farquhar, and Vettel Halls on Saturday, May 10th.

New residents entering the residence halls for summer housing will be contacted by the Office of Residential Life and Housing on when they con move into their room for the Summer of 2008.

NSU Residency Requirement

Nova Southeastern University requires all undergraduate day students with 0–48 credit hours to live on campus unless one or both of the following criteria applies.

  1. You are married.
  2. You reside with your immediate family (mother, father, or legal guardian) within the tri-county area (Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach).
If you meet one or both of the above criteria and choose on-campus housing, you must honor the entire term of the CONTRACT as selected above. If you are over the age of 25 or married, you have the option to move into the apartments or live off campus.

Optional Declining Balance Plan for Founders, Farquhar, and Vettel Hall

Students living in apartment-style facilities may purchase a mandatory $1200 declining balance plan or an optional declining balance plan. The optional declining plan is available in $100 increments. The flexibility of all declining balance plans allows all students and residents to dine at various locations on the Nova Southeastern University campus, including the following:

  • University Center Dining and C-Store
  • Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Information Technology Center
  • Health Professions Division Cafeteria
  • Shepard Broad Law Center
  • H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship
  • Parker Building Kiosk
