Upperclass Communities

The Quiet Corridor

This community brings together students who prefer a quiet, studious environment. These students set their own community standards in regards to quiet hours and use of the study lounge. These students create a community of engaged, academically focused students.

The Quiet Corridor is offered in both Goodwin Hall and the Commons Residence Hall. The members of the community in the Commons will assist with mentorship of the members of the community in Goodwin Hall.

Leadership Theme Community
“L.E.A.D.” (Leading Empowering Aspiring Developing)

This community brings together leaders from areas such as the executive board of clubs and organizations, Student Government, the LEAD 3000 class and members of the Leadership certificate program to learn more about themselves as leaders and to service the campus community with their leadership skills.

This community will support the mission of the Leadership Development Program to develop leaders who can effectively lead themselves, their peers, and their organizations as students, professionals and citizens. LEAD 1 is a freshman community of leaders who live in the Commons and LEAD 2 is upperclass community of leaders who mentor the members of LEAD 1.

Greek Village Community

This community brings together members of all recognized sororities and fraternities on campus to support the mission of Greek Life: The Office of Greek Life at Nova Southeastern University is dedicated to the intellectual and personal development of students through membership in Greek-letter organizations. We encourage all members of our community to avail themselves of the scholarship, leadership, and philanthropic opportunities of Greek life membership. Must be an active member of the NSU Greek system to live in the Greek Village.

Business & Entrepreneurship Living and Learning Community
“The Executive Suites”

This community consists of students studying or interested in Business and Entrepreneurship and supports the mission of the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship to advance the personal growth and professional development of individuals in business, academia, government, and nonprofit organizations by providing readily accessible, managerially and entrepreneurially oriented, and convenient educational opportunities of superior real-world value.
