Jean J. Latimer, Ph.D., is the director of the NSU AutoNation Institute for Breast Cancer Research and Care and an associate professor and cancer research scientist at NSU’s College of Pharmacy. At NSU, Latimer leads a team that investigates human breast tissue for DNA damage that originates from environmental causes.

Stephen E. Zimberg is currently enrolled in the Ph.D. program in Nova’s Barry and Judy Silverman College of Pharmacy in the Molecular Medicine and Pharmacogenomics tract and has joined Dr. Jean Latimer’s AutoNation Breast Cancer Research and Care Lab.  Dr. Zimberg currently has an appointment as Clinical Associate Professor, Affiliated, Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Department of Clinical Sciences at Nova Southeastern University School of Allopathic Medicine.

H. Thomas Temple, M.D. has a long-established reputation as a successful surgeon and researcher. His clinical interests are novel treatment of benign and malignant bone and soft tissue tumors in children and adults, tissue transplantation and complex limb reconstruction. His research interests are stem cell applications in bone and cartilage regeneration, tissue banking and developing targeted therapies for sarcomas.
