Barbara Packer-Muti, EdD is the Executive Director of Institutional and Community Engagement at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) and coordinates the Razor's Edge Research Program. She has worked at NSU for 28 years in a variety of capacities, including Dean of Academic Affairs at the Fischler School of Education (FSE), Director of the Applied Research Center at FSE and Director of Doctoral Studies in Audiology and Speech-Language at FSE. Dr. Packer-Muti holds faculty rank at the NSU and teaches coursework at FSE as well as in the Institute for Health and Human Services as well as serving as dissertation chairs for doctoral students in FSE and in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Dr. Packer-Muti has been a volunteer Guardian ad Litem in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court, Broward County for 7 years and is passionate about the children for whom she advocates. She is a graduate of Douglass College, Rutgers University, of Teachers College, Columbia University and earned her doctoral degree at NSU.

Nicholas Pascucci, M.S. is the Administrative Coordinator to Dr. Packer-Muti in the Office of Institutional and Community Engagement. Nicholas is a retired veteran serving over 20 years in the United States Coast Guard. He is also a high school basketball coach with strong ties to the community. He is extremely passionate about ensuring student athletes that they have an opportunity to continue their education in order to obtain a better life. Nicholas organizes basketball camps for inner-city students giving them the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of college coaches. He has helped a plethora of student athletes obtain a college degree; a few of his players are in the NBA or playing professional overseas.

Kristofer O’Connor, BA is the Graduate Assistant for Razor’s Edge Research Scholars Program. He is currently studying College Student Affairs at NSU and plans to graduate with his Master’s degree in May 2019. He is an alumna of Rowan University, located in Glassboro, New Jersey, where he was involved in many campus activities and was captain of the basketball team.
