Nova Southeastern University's Radio X 88.5 FM is a unique, non-commercial, non-profit radio station. Radio X 88.5FM is the only college radio station in Broward County with a transmission capacity of 3,000 watts, extending its reach to include Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties. Radio X broadcasts live on 88.5FM and 24 hours a day over the Internet on Live365.com allowing listeners to hear WNSU programming worldwide!
Radio X - A major supporter of local music!
Radio X Started in August 1990 as a cable-based station broadcasting solely to students residing on campus. Radio X is now a unique non-commercial student-managed radio station that broadcasts live beginning at 6 p.m. to the tri-county area on 88.5 FM WKPX Sunrise. Radio X promotes college radio programming with a wide variety of shows in a block format. A major supporter of local bands and the music scene, Radio X offers a local show that features interviews with South Florida's up and coming musicians. In addition to providing world, national, local, music, and sports news. Radio X also provides programming highlighting NSU news and sports. Radio X broadcasts include; original informational and entertainment programming, aimed at its young adult market, and public service announcements for the South Florida community. Both a communications entity and an educational tool, NSU's Radio X is establishing itself as a voice for NSU and the surrounding communities, particularly on behalf of it's youth and young adults.
