Alyssa Rothman is the project manager for the division of Public Relations and Marketing Communications. She plans, develops, and executes effective communication campaigns to promote the University's programs. Serving the needs of the university members, Rothman develops communication and promotional campaigns, evaluates communication strategies, and coordinates public relations and marketing communication projects. These initiatives include graduate microsites, university wide open houses, and community programs like the Holocaust Reflection Contest. Rothman previously served as Director of the Office of Online Programs and as an Academic Advisor serving NSU undergraduate students.
Prior to joining NSU in 1996, Rothman was a director of local, privately owned preschools and a professional clown. Her service to the community includes fundraising for the United Way, American Heart Association, and National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Rothman holds an M.S. in Computer Technology in Education from Nova Southeastern University and a B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Massachusetts.
