Bernadette Bruce, M.B.A. is a Director for Public Relations and Marketing Communications at Nova Southeastern University (NSU). Award-winning in multiple channels, she is responsible for directing the visual design and voice for Realizing Potential – The Campaign for Nova Southeastern University. She provides creative concepting and strategy to the teams responsible for brand awareness, philanthropy, stakeholder relations, and recruitment. She manages projects. Engages students and stakeholders. Coaches speakers. And shares stories that increase affinity. Her portfolio spans 23 years. Her work with entrepreneurs and clients includes branding, advertising, marketing, creative direction, investor relations, public relations, project management, social media, and special events.
Bruce is a member of Leadership Broward XXXIII and Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale’s 80th Anniversary Committee. She served on the executive committee for three non-profit boards in Memphis, Tennessee, including Leadership Memphis and Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis. Her work with Memphis Rock ‘n’ Soul, Inc. aided the opening of the first permanent Smithsonian exhibition outside of New York or Washington D.C. She was named a Top 40 under 40 by Memphis Business Journal in 2003. She holds a M.B.A. in Leadership from NSU’s H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship. Her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism comes from University of Memphis.
