Faculty Advisor

Dr. Edward E. Packer, D.O., FAAP, FACOP

Dr. Packer is an Associate Professor and Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at NSU College of Osteopathic Medicine.  He has been a faculty member since 2001 and currently serves as the Pediatrics Club Faculty Advisor.  Dr. Packer is a member of the NSU Care team of physicians at the NSU Sanford L. Ziff Health Care Center as well as affiliated with Broward General Medical Center and Miami Children's Hospital. He is a Board Certified pediatrician and a Fellow of both the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians. Dr. Packer interned at John F. Kennedy Hospital in Stratford, NJ, and completed his pediatric residency at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. He is a valuable resource for any student considering a career in Pediatrics.
