Mission Phi Alpha Delta is a professional law fraternity advancing integrity, compassion and courage through service to the student , the school, the profession and the community.

Declaration of Purpose
The purpose of this Fraternity shall be to form a strong bond uniting students and teachers of the law with members of the Bench and Bar in a fraternal fellowship designed to advance the ideals of liberty and equal justice under law; to stimulate excellence in scholarship; to inspire the virtues of compassion and courage; to foster integrity and professional competence; to promote the welfare of this members; and to encourage their moral, intellectual, and cultural advancement; so that each member may enjoy a lifetime of honorable professional and public service.
History
Phi Alpha Delta is among the few organization with a strong tradition of excellence. Founded on November 8, 1902 with the purpose of promoting professional competency and achievement within the legal profession. Today P.A.D has over 290 pre-law chapters and 99 alumni chapters in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico.
Established in 1980, Phi Alpha Delta’s pre-law program was created to address the needs of pre-law students. The programs fundamental objective is to assist undergraduate students to make an informed choice when selecting a law career and deciding which law school to attended. It also assist undergraduate students with preparation for the LSAT, writing a personal statement and creating a resume.
Phi Alpha Delta was the first organization to openly welcome members of all genders, races, colors and creed. P.A.D is also the first and only organization to recognize and meet the needs of pre– law students.
