Welcome to the fully accredited Physician Assistant Program - Southwest Florida! Part of Nova Southeastern University's College of Allied Health & Nursing, this PA Program is the only PA Program on the southwest coast of Florida. The program is housed in a state of the art, 60,000 square foot facility, in Fort Myers, Florida. It is conveniently located at exit 136 (Colonial Boulevard) off of I-75 in Fort Myers.

While the Physician Assistant Program Southwest Florida offers all of the educational opportunities of the Fort Lauderdale program, it is planned to stay smaller and, therefore, more intimate. The maximum enrollment for the Southwest Florida campus will be 64. The program currently has 10 full time faculty including a full time Medical Director, and one shared faculty member, who teaches basic sciences in the PA program as well as the nursing program.

The NSU Physician Assistant Program Southwest Florida was awarded full accreditation from ARC- PA, and will undergo its next continuing accreditation site visit in 2011. There are currently 50 students in the second year class and a class of 61 matriculated in June of 2008. The first graduating class achieved a 92% pass rate on the PANCE for first time takers and overall pass rate of 90%. The second graduating class has achieved a first-time takers pass rate of 90% to date!
