We, the students of the Nova Southeastern University Physician Assistant Program in Fort Lauderdale, recognize that through a formal organization we can benefit our program, our community, our profession, and ourselves.
It is for this reason that we establish the Nova Southeastern University- Fort Lauderdale Physician Assistant Student Society. In all aspects of its function, this society shall pursue professionalism, integrity, equality, dignity, and competence for the Physician Assistant as a health care professional. |

The first Friday of Fall semester was a special one for Nova Southeastern University Fort Lauderdale class of 2011. It was officially made FAPA jean day, allowing students to dress down to show their support for FAPA. With a membership drive leading up to the event, students had to be FAPA members to wear jeans on FAPA Jean Day. By Friday, September 04, 2009, we had 66 members, more than 2/3 of our total class. In all, the whole program participated, with faculty and administrative staff wearing jeans as well. Students were really excited to dress down and wear something else other than professional attire or scrubs. Just one of the activities to give support to our state organization! |
