Rick Yarosh, MPAS, PA-C
Having had a passionate interest in space travel since childhood, Mr. Yarosh, in his clinical year as a physician assistant student, was honored to be the first PA student granted permission by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to complete an elective rotation at the Kennedy Space Center. Upon graduation, Mr. Yarosh was employed for 5 years in a multi-specialty surgical group in Clinton, Iowa. During that time, he received the degree Master of Physician Assistant Studies at University of Nebraska. In 2002, he returned to south Florida continuing his professional interest in surgery. While working professionally, he pursued further graduate studies and was awarded the degree Executive Master of Business Administration with specialization in Healthcare Administration by the University of Miami. In 2008, responding to a long-standing personal interest in teaching, Professor Yarosh joined the NSU faculty. His academic goals include advocacy of the student and the physician assistant profession. |
