Candidates for admission for the Master of Occupational Therapy must submit
or be responsible for submission of:
- A completed application form along with a $50 non-refundable application
fee.
- Three evaluations from such individuals such as academic instructors
and professors, occupational therapists and other health professionals,
volunteer supervisors, or work supervisors who can evaluate the student's
abilities in regard to this course of instruction. Evaluations should
be submitted on forms provided and not in the form of a letter.
- Official GRE scores.
- Official college transcripts from all undergraduate or graduate institutions
attended, sent to Office of Admissions Nova Southeastern University
Occupational Therapy program directly from the institutions.
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores if a foreign
student.
Upon receipt of the completed application and required credentials,
the Committee on Admissions will select those applicants for interview.
Those selected will be notified in writing of the time and place. All
applicants who are eventually accepted into the program must be interviewed.
An invitation to appear for an interview should not be construed by
the applicant as evidence of acceptance. Notice of acceptance or other
action by the Committee on Admissions will be on a "rolling" or periodic
schedule. Early completion of the application is therefore, in the best
interest of the student.
