OSP Funding Announcements
OSP issues a weekly Funding Announcements listing, which is a compilation of grant, fellowship, and other opportunities from government and private sources. Each weekly document is available in PDF format, and is key-word searchable using the “Find” function in Adobe Reader. Archived announcements are also available.
All NSU faculty and staff have electronic access to Pivot, a comprehensive resource to find funding opportunities for - and share expertise/establish collaborations with - faculty, staff researchers, and graduate students:
- Funding: Pivot allows you to develop customized searches from thousands of new and updated opportunities from around the world.
- Expertise: Pivot creates pre-populated Pivot profiles and allows you to update/augment your profile by uploading your CV or publication pages. Pivot also indexes and searches CV and publication pages to augment information on your profile.
- Collaborations: Pivot allows you to search for, and be found by, potential collaborators within and outside NSU.
Foundation Center/Foundation Directory Online
The Foundation Center's web site provides information about foundations, corporate giving programs, and grantmaking public charities in the U.S.; corporate funders; recently awarded grants; and a keyword-searchable database of recently filed IRS Forms 990 and 990-PF. The Alvin Sherman Library hosts the Foundation Directory Online grant search engine, which is accessible by all faculty and staff at the Alvin Sherman Library (second floor).
