2. What if my Dean is unavailable to sign my PAR form and other mandatory forms?
If your Dean is unavailable to sign the PAR form or other forms, then please have a person who is able to sign the form on the Dean's behalf.
3. Why are these forms necessary?
These forms are necessary because they certify authorship of the proposal and that the time, facilities, equipment, and funding are sufficient to accomplish the activities identified in the proposal. Additionally, they ensure that individuals working on the project fully understand their responsibilities with respect to the management of their grant or contract award.
4. How soon should I complete and return the forms to OGC?
Forms should be completed, signed, and returned to OGC before proposal submission.
5. How do I know if my proposal needs Institutional Review Board (IRB) review and approval?
All projects that propose to conduct research involving human subjects are subject to IRB review and approval.
