Module 3: Proposal Development

The purpose of this module is to assist faculty, researchers, administrators and graduate students with developing competitive grant proposals. Topics covered in this module include developing project ideas, establishing goals and objectives, and developing line item budgets and budget justifications. Upon completion of this module, users will know:

• The nuts and bolts of developing a well written grant proposal
• How to develop appropriate budget worksheets and justifications
• How to write competitive proposals that respond to the agency's guidelines and review criteria
