Module 2: Funding Tools

The purpose of this module is to assist faculty, researchers, administrators and graduate students with researching and identifying funding sources available for sponsored projects. Topics covered in this module include sources of funding, identifying funding opportunities, and understanding and interpreting agency guidelines. Upon completion of this module, users will know how to:

• Access and search funding databases
• Link project ideas to appropriate funding opportunities
• Decide on the feasibility of applying for sponsored funding
