NSU Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences (FCAS) undergraduate students,
Shilpa Kailas and Justin Piacentino, worked in the Lopez lab during the
spring semester, and won second place for their poster, DNA fingerprinting
and whole genome replication for the identification of bacteria from a marine
sponge, in the annual FCAS 2009 undergraduate symposium.
