Distance Education

The Mission of the Oceanographic Center is to carry out innovative, basic and applied research and to provide high-quality graduate and undergraduate education in a broad range of marine science and related disciplines. The Center also serves as a community resource for information, research and education on oceanographic and environmental issues. Towards this end, the Oceanographic Center has offered flexible, accessible and learner-centered distance education courses since 1993.

Our distance courses may be taken individually for general interest, for undergraduate or graduate credit (MS).
