
BIOSTATISTICS II (OCOR-5606; CRN:36401)
This is a basic course on the practical applications of descriptive and inferential statistics with emphasis on principles and
methods of summarizing and analyzing biological data. It is designed for students who have never had a statistics course in
college. Measures of central tendency, dispersion, and variability testing will be discussed along with basic concepts of
probability distributions, hypothesis testing, and decision making. Topics will also include simple statistical tests,
analysis of variance (ANOVA), linear regression, and correlation.

Prerequisite: Biostatistics I or like-minded course
