Alumni
Opinion Survey
Thank you so much for your participation in NSU's College of Nursing Alumni Opinion Survey. We feel that the success of NSU is measured by our graduates, and our quality is improved by assessing your perception of your NSU experience. Your opinions, praise and criticism are all valuable in improving our programs and services. The following is a summary of key findings from the survey:
-
Nearly 100% of alumni surveyed take pride in being an NSU graduate.
-
66% of alumni who responded feel either "well" or "somewhat" connected to NSU.
-
Nearly 80% agree that NSU is a "lifelong experience."
-
Over 90% agree that NSU continues to have a positive impact on their career.
-
Over 90% "love" being an NSU alumnus/a.
-
Over 90% appreciate NSU's commitment to diversity.
-
Alumni feel the closest ties to NSU through their friends and classmates, their particular program/department that they attended, and, more so than any other school or center at NSU, a particular professor.
-
Alumni value NSU's respected, real-world experience faculty, small class size, flexibility, convenience, choices in programs, state of the art facilities, and respected name.
-
Alumni want to hear about success stories of fellow alumni.
-
Alumni agree that NSU's printed and e-communications are valuable sources of information.
-
Alumni suggest more social and networking events, where different groups could come together as one. Others suggest more contact and emails.
-
If they were to hit the lottery, alumni would first support students with scholarships and financial aid, giving them the opportunity to have the NSU experience.
Remember that the College of Nursing and your NSU Alumni Association are always here to serve you. Again, we thank you for your participation, and look forward to seeing you at an upcoming alumni program!
