The College of Nursing recognizes and honors the academic strengths, leadership roles, community involvement, and skills of its students. Requirements: Applicant must be a registered nurse who is currently enrolled in a graduate program in maternal-child nursing at the master's or doctorate level. Must have at least 1 academic term to complete after August of the year in which the scholarship is awarded. Cannot be a previous recipient of the March of Dimes graduate nursing scholarship and cannot be an employee or a member of its Board of Trustees or a family member of either. Application must be a member of at least one of the following professional organizations: the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses; the American College of Nurse-Midwives; or the National Association of Neonatal Nurses.

Healthcare Professionals Loan Repayment Program

Award Amount: Up to $50,000 repayment towards nursing school loans

  • $20,000 will be applied to an education loan for each of the first two years
  • $10,000 will be applied to an education loan for the third year
