Fort Lauderdale
Students enrolled in the Fort Lauderdale nursing program have the opportunities to work in various hospitals in the Miami-Dade and Broward Counties gaining experience as a professional nurse.
Fort Myers
NSU has expanded its Southwest Florida operations to meet the needs of a growing community. The entry level nursing program will begin August 2008 on the Fort Myers campus. Students will have the opportunities to work in various hospitals in Lee County and the surrounding area to gain experience as a professional nurse.
NSU Nursing Option at Baptist Health South Florida
We are pleased to announce our partnership with Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF)! This partnership enables entry level students to obtain their baccalaureate nursing education from NSU while their tuition and fees are paid for by BHSF. Student selected for this option will attend their first semester of classes at our Davie campus. All other classes, including clinical rotations will be located on site at an NSU or BHSF facility in Miami, FL.
Students interested in pursuing this option need to first apply to NSU, following the same admission procedures of the NSU-Ft. Lauderdale students. Once the entry level nursing students are selected for the incoming NSU class, they will be provided with the opportunity to apply for a BHSF scholarship, with the understanding that they will attend all classes at a BHSF facility.
