DNP graduates are required to complete 1,000 practice hours post-bachelor of science in nursing. Students may be required to complete additional practicum hours in order to meet the 1,000-hour requirement. Students will work with an adviser to plan their individual program of study. Hours from the master's degree credited toward these practice hours must be verified by the university where the student completed the degree. See admissions requirements for instructions on documentation of practice hours.
