Welcome to the Nova Southeastern University Nursing Department. We are delighted that you are visiting our web site. Whether you are seeking information to enter the practice of nursing or are a registered nurse looking to enhance your knowledge of nursing, NSU nursing has a program for you.
Nursing continues to be one of the top occupations in terms of job growth. The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) and other leading nursing organizations recognize the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N). degree as the minimum educational requirement for professional nursing practice.
Practicing nurses can enroll in programs at NSU to obtain a variety of advanced degrees including RN to BSN, RN to MSN, MSN and PhD. Many of our programs are offered both on campus and online.
Nursing students at NSU will have the opportunity to participate with the National Student Nurses Association and apply for membership with the International Nursing Honor Society Sigma Theta Tau International.
Above all, you will work with a highly experienced and qualified faculty whose goal is to help you meet your goals. Within a caring, nurturing environment of nurses and other health care professionals, you will develop skills to move into the next phase of your professional career.
