Swim Clinics

Course Description

Swim clinics are oriented to fit  your needs and absolutely FREE

Beginning swimmers will start off simple and have a swim instructor help them become comfortable in the water. Advanced swimmers will have an opportunity to polish their strokes with one-on-one help from our swim instructors. So, if you are not comfortable swimming, or if you have been swimming for years, these clinics are right for you.

In these clinics you will:

  • Learn/Improve the designated stroke/skill
  • Learn tips and drills on how to improve your strokes/skills
  • Learn drills and techniques to help you swim faster, longer, and smarter
  • Watch videos and/or demonstrations
  • Learn how to create your own effective swimming workouts

Our American Red Cross certified swim instructors are here to help improve your swimming techniques. These clinics are not meant to teach a person to swim, but to assist with improving strokes and/or other swimming elements for efficiency.

Again, swim clinics are free events and no need to register in advance. Participants may show up anytime during the clinics to join. We will be holding our swim clinic at the RecPlex Leisure Pool once a month.
