Adult Group Lessons

Want to learn how to swim for the first time? Maybe you just want to refine your stroke a little bit and learn better technique. Then adult group lessons are ideal for you!

Nova Southeastern University students, faculty, staff, and alumni with active N numbers plus their dependents may sign up. 

Fall 2017

Adult group lessons will be taking place on Monday and Wednesday, over the four-week course, with a total of eight lessons per session for Fall 2017.

  • Session I: September 11 – October 4
  • Session II: October 9 – November 1

Learning the Basics 5:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. $100 $120
Stroke Improvement 5:45 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. $100 $120

Adult Swim – Learning the Basics: This class is for the non-swimming adult that would like to learn how to swim for the first time!  We will start with basic aquatic skills and build up your comfort in, on, and around the water.  We also teach you about water safety so that you will learn how to save yourself and/or others in an emergency situation.

Adult Swim – Improving Skills and Swimming Strokes: This class is for the adult who can already swim, but would like to learn more about proper stroke technique.  We will cover all strokes, go over water safety topics and help improve your fitness and endurance level!
