Scholarships
Scholarship opportunities vary from state to state. Students are urged to call your local training coordinating office, your local or state child care resource and referral agency, your state department of children and families, or the Council for Professional Recognition at 800-424-4310 to check on the availability of CDA scholarships in your state.

Currently 13 states have adopted the TEACH scholarship program which provides substantial benefits for CDA candidates: Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Washington, Wisconsin. Contact www.childcareservices.org for information about TEACH in your state.

Many child care businesses as well as government-supported early childhood programs and other employers offer tuition assistance. Check with your employer for possible tuition assistance.

Because the NSU CDA Online training does not require full-time enrollment, most students are NOT eligible for Pell Grants and similar federal financial aid.
