The Mailman Segal Institute develops and implements educational and training programs for practitioners of early childhood and special education; provides consulting and training services to centers, schools, and agencies; and produces publications for parents, educators, and the community. Leadership development is a major goal that permeates our training. The institute recognizes the need for culturally diverse leaders who have the capacity to think systematically, set-up programs, develop policies, and design approaches that will have an immediate and long-range impact on the way we take care of our children.
