Child Care Training

The Child Care (40-30-hour) Training Program provides state-mandated training required to work in a child care center or home-based child care facility. Training classes provide caregivers with basic knowledge needed to respond appropriately to children in their care, helping them to recognize a child's emerging personality, skills and needs.

The training provides networking opportunities with other caregivers in the community. The trainers, Training Coordinating Office, and Training Coordinator serve as ongoing resources to trainees. The training program brings together persons from around the county for education and an exchange of information needed to provide quality care to our youngest citizens.

For more specific information on the child care training program, please refer to the links below, or feel free to contact the Broward office at (954) 262-6905.
