Fun Service Holiday

Wednesday, October 10th - We will be joining the NSU Alumni Association for their annual Alumni Night at the Museum at the Museum of Art in Fort Lauderdale for the newest Shark exhibit showing 400 different species and 70 artists.  To register please visit, www.nova.edu/alumni/events The cost of admission is $25 per person which includes admission to the exhibit, an audio guide, and reception with beverages and hors d’oeuvres. Time: 6:00-8:00pm.

Directions: 1 East Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301. From I-95, take the Broward Boulevard exit (#27) east to Andrews Avenue. Take Andrews Avenue south to Las Olas Blvd. The Museum is located on the north-east corner of Las Olas Boulevard and Andrews Avenue, across from Huizenga Plaza. (Note: parking is available at meters around the museum or at the City Park Garage two blocks east of the museum between  SE 1st & 2nd Avenue and SW 2nd Street.)

Saturday, November 10th - As part of our ongoing volunteer work we will be returning to John U. Lloyd Beach State Park in Dania Beach for a Beach Clean Up followed by a picnic lunch. This will be great opportunity to get involved and give back to the community with all your MIBA friends and enjoy a beautiful day at the beach. So bring your work gloves and sun screen, we will have a great time! RSVP: by emailing Leslie at argenal@nova.edu. Time: 9:00am. Cost: Free.

Saturday, December 1st - We are planning our annual Holiday Dinner at Egg & Dart in Miami, it is really good rustic Greek cuisine. We wanted to make sure this was on your calendar with plenty of time since December is always such a crazy time for everyone. If you can join us, let us know so we have an idea of the number of people to reserve the space. These are the details:

Menu:
This will be a family style dinner, meaning that every four people will share the plates in the menu below:
1 Appetizer Platter (includes hummus, tzatziki, taramosalata)
1 Greek Salad
1 Saganaki (lightly fried goat cheese)
1 meat platter (includes chicken breast, skirt steak, Greek sausage and hand cut fries)
