Conference Rooms

The Alvin Sherman Library has five (5) conference rooms which are available for use by NSU departments, student organizations and any NSU-sponsored events, as well as outside public groups/organizations. Conference rooms are located on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors of the library, and can accomodate between eight (8) and eighty (80) persons, depending on the specific room and the room set-up.

In addition to conference rooms, the library has other rooms and spaces which may be available by special request. These include the Library Atrium, and Library Gallery.

All groups reserving and using library conference rooms are required to abide by the Conference Room Guidelines. In addition, all library rules and policies must be adhered to when utilizing a library conference room. Please see Library Policies. Non-NSU groups must also meet the requirements of the NSU Office of Facilities Management.

Conference Room Reservations

Conference room reservation requests must be made online at least seven (7) business days prior to the proposed meeting/event. Non-NSU groups must make reservations via Facility Leasing at least 30 days in advance. Your reservation is not official until you receive an email confirmation from the AdAstra Scheduling System.

Unless otherwise requested, all rooms will have a standard room set-up. For details on standard room set-up and additional set-up options, see Conference Room Set-up.
